A Cinematic Couple Photoshoot by the Ocean in Porto
There is something about the Atlantic coast near Porto that makes photos feel cinematic.
This couple told me afterwards that during the session they felt like characters in a movie. I loved that description because this is exactly what I like about shooting by the ocean - you don't need a complicated setting or a collection of famous landmarks. Give people some space, let them move, look at each other, walk, sit, get close, and the atmosphere starts doing its part.
The coast around Porto is especially beautiful in the late afternoon, when the light becomes softer and the rocks and water lose some of their harshness.
For couples looking for something more atmospheric than a typical Porto postcard, an ocean photoshoot is one of my favourite options.
